Outside The Box: Brainstorming Work Groups
After the great feedback NCI received from attendees who attended special roundtable discussions at last October's Business Leadership Conference, we decided to introduce "Outside The Box: Brainstorming Work Group" sessions this year. You will have an opportunity to select two of the four following Work Groups to participate in, one on Tuesday and one on Wednesday:
- Management & Leadership
- Sales & Service Management
- Marketing
- Implementing Performance-Based Technical Processes
When you register for the Summit, you will be asked for your two Work Group preferences so we can make sure you get the most from this cutting-edge brainstorming approach
PerformanceTown USA
Once again NCI brings you the nationally acclaimed PerformanceTown USA hands-on training program with five HVAC and Home Performance hands-on stations. Instructors will be at each station to give you a truly personalized training experience providing many new troubleshooting exercises and challenges for the master diagnostician to the novice.
Station 1: Performance Peak
Sharpen your skills at live system BTU measurement
Station 2: Pressure Drop Hill
Test total static pressure and component pressure drops
Station 3: Traverse Terrace
Measure airflow through four new round and rectangular ducts
Station 4: Blower Door Bend
Live blower door testing! Find leakage in this hands-on workshop
Station 5: IR Camera Vista
Recognize gaps in insulation, thermal bypasses and other building
defects using real time temperature
Idea Meeting
Join your fellow members on Tuesday afternoon in what has been a long-standing tradition at NCI Conferences: Our Idea Meeting. Here's how it works: Every participant puts $20 in the pot and submits their best winning idea for a vote from the group. The winners share the pot based on their standing. Don't have an idea? For just $20 you can listen to some of the best business ideas from some of the most successful contractors around the US and Canada.

NCI 2nd Annual Golf Outing
Sunday, February 5
NCI continues the tradition started at the 2011 Summit with a golf outing at Innisbrook, one of the country's finest golf resorts. The resort hosts the annual PGA TOUR Transitions Championship at its famed Copperhead Course, and the LPGA-supported ISPA Legends Tour Open Championship, held annually at the equally challenging Island Course.
POD Meetings
Monday, February 6
NCI will make meeting rooms available on Monday afternoon to POD groups who want to meet at Summit. Thinking of forming a new POD? Let us know - why not hold your formation meeting at Summit? NCI can provide a moderator for your first meeting.
What are PODS? "PODS" (Performance-Based Organized Discussion Groups) are focus groups of NCI members which are a powerful means to evaluate services, test new ideas or exchange successful processes. POD Group meetings are very successful as an implementation stimulus for agreed upon goals.
Opening General Session - NCI YOUR Way!

After a delicious hot breakfast, we officially kick off Summit 2012 with an opening session where NCI's leadership will review the group's accomplishments and reveal brand new programs, training, member benefits and more.
Meet & Greet Reception & Vendor Show
Tuesday, February 7
Score big when you attend this reception and visit the booths of vendors supporting Summit 2012! You'll have a chance to win valuable prizes and take advantage of many Vendor Show Specials while you enjoy refreshments and networking with fellow NCI members.
General Session & Prize Drawing

Kick off the morning by attending this General Session featuring additional announcements and our terrific Prize Drawing where vendors have donated thousands of dollars in prizes. Be sure to participate in the special activities in the Vendor Reception to increase your chances of winning!
Awards Banquet
